This is a beautiful cover!
Wow! Amazing cover and a personal favorite.
I absolutely love this in both concept and execution. Beautifully done!
If you ever decide to sell or trade this one, please let me know. I'd love to hang it on my wall.
LEGENDARY art score! This is huge piece of Bronze Age history. Congrats!
Wow! This is THE page to have from this book. Congrats on a great pickup!
Bernie really outdid himself on this one-I really like how there is no wasted space and he captured each one perfectly, with just enough mix of Davis, Craig and Ingels but then all in Wrightson's unmatched style. This is the perfect E.C. homage by a horror master.
Wow! Batman, Robin and Catwoman drawn by masters at the top of their game! From that first iconic panel thru to the last one, just a fantastic page. Congrats!
That's an awesome cover! Too few original twice up covers survived, and it's good to see this one in good hands. Congrats!
Incredible piece! Great colors and detail.
Great ensemble cover and an early Iwo Jima cover (4 months after the flag raising photo was published!). Congrats on a great addition to your collection.
Huge congrats on an incredible piece of comic art history. It will be right at home in your collection!
Incredible score-congrats!
This is awesome! I'm so beyond jealous-great find!
Amazing page, and from the best sequence in the book. Great use of kinetics in the top panel.
That is a great splash! Congrats.
This is Kubert at his most awesome! A great page-tall Enemy Ace, plus a couple of stellar action panels with biplanes. Congrats!
Awesome middle panel! No one does underwater scenes as well as Russ. It's a nice bonus that every page from the story is on CAF.
This is awesome-there are too few twice-up DC war splashes on here!
Thanks for sharing this awesome cover-Davis outdid himself on this one!
Awesome image! Congrats on a great pick up.
That last panel is pure gold! Congrats on picking up the whole story.
Amazing work by an artist I've seen far too few originals from.
Ken Barr is way underrated and was an amazing artist! Great cover.
Nice piece! There are far too few Raemaekers originals in here. Congrats on a great find.
The level of detail on these pages is stunning! Great looking vehicles, love the contrast and how well the inks make the page pop. Thanks for sharing it.
This is really great-a perfect rendering of one of the best Golden Age heroes!
STUNNING work by Russ! Thanks for posting this---great stuff!
Sergio's one pagers are part of what define DC's horror books from the 70s, and this is an AWESOME example. And that center panel? Perfection. So many cool things going on that only a genius like Sergio could pull off without making it look cluttered. Congrats on a great pickup.
Wow! Proof again that Ingels was a master of his craft. This is as disturbing as it is well crafted. The additional horror trope of bodies hanging on hooks amplifies what would have been a horrible enough work with just the central image, and also serves as a great framing device, drawing the eyes in to the main horror.
Subtle, creepy, and very well executed. Congrats on a great acquisition!
Love this story-and the cover that ties into it! Robbins' horror was always a fun read, and I wish he had done more. This is one of his best-Death, plus the view from the bridge, the gun firing and sinking the ship in the distance; in lesser hands this would have looked cluttered, but Robbins makes it a masterpiece!
Great amount of detail-it's indeed a shame that the cheap printing of this timeframe lost a lot of it. Duranona really brought his Warren-level art game to this story.
