I have been a comic book collector and a fan of Edgar Rice Burroughs for as long as I can remember. My very first original art purchase was a Frank Frazetta rough for The Gauntlet movie poster. I followed it with a small Burroughs-ish pen and ink from William Stout but got hooked by collector Roger Hill when I bought a hand colored Kaluta House of Secrets cover from him. Roger befriended me and I have been an original art collector since. My main focus is Burroughs art, specifically Tarzan, but I have not been able to turn down pieces by some of my artist heroes or pieces of my other character heroes.
I own a restaurant and bar in Cincinnati where we hold comic book trivia every Thursday night. It gives me the opportunity to share my art with fellow fans as I have an ever changing gallery wall at the restaurant.
