I started collecting art in 1999. During that year, I picked up a good number of original pieces from PREACHER, SANDMAN (bad story, gave Charles Vess' page from THE WAKE that featured Delirium's eulogy to an ex-girlfriend), and NIGHTWING.
Then, in 2001, I sold it all to pursue a collection of sketches. At my first con doing such, I scored a quick Frank Miller Batman. That was a good day.
