Hello, my name is Steve Burdo and I am an avid art collector. I live in New York and I am married and have four wonderful children. Similar to many, I began collecting comics, then graded comics and then art pages and now I specifically look for painted covers. I generally approach collecting from the artistic side. If I see an outstanding painting, I look to purchase it even if the character does not necessarily appeal to me. I love great art. Conversely, I do have a passion for certain characters, Punisher, Wolverine and Hulk being my amongst my favorites. Learning the process of comic book making, creating friendships with artists and fans and finally becoming an art student have been a very pleasant way to escape the daily grind. I sincerely appreciate the network of people involved in this site and wish everyone continued success in their collecting
