Taylor's Gallery
I am interested almost exclusively in art from Warren Publishing (Creepy, Eerie, Vampirella, Blazing Combat, 1984/1994) from the 1960s, 1970s and early 1980s (and some artists who appeared too late to work for Warren). See my want list, or my Wanted gallery, for art I am interested in obtaining. I also have some art that I am interested in selling or trading.
My god, your predecessors did a terrible job of preserving the original art for comic stories. Comic storytelling, like film storytelling, is one of the great art forms of the 20th century, yet Scott Dunbier has revealed that he could find no complete stories for the Byrne and Cockrum Artifact Editions. None. We may have the printed stories, but any comic restoration without the art is going to involve someone redrawing the art. So it's up to us to do our damnedest to find the art for the stories that your predecessors destroyed and bring them back into the canon. An awful lot is being done as you know ... but when I think of some of the stories that are gone it's really heartbreaking.
