McKenna, Mark

I don't know if you know this, but I've been a comic book artist for 24 years, having worked for both Marvel and DC comics on the likes of The X Men and Spider Man to Batman and The Justice League. There are more then 425 comics that list my name in the credits and 7,000 pages that bear my ink lines on them.

I created the concepts for Banana Tail along with my dear old departed Dad more then 10 years ago.

As I said, things are moving in the right direction for me, but it's a slow arduous effort to get parents, teachers and even retailers to see Banana Tail the way that many kids and adults do. If you are a parent, retailer or a teacher and have visited this site with a child before and like what you see, please help me keep Banana Tail alive and fresh by reaching out to me. I make school appearances and will discuss traveling reasonable distances to make appearances. I offer a PTO fundraising effort with no appearance fee to the schools I visit and it ends up being a rewarding experience for everybody involved. If you are a retailer, I can discuss wholesale discounts and signed editions for your store to carry.

I will keep continuing to create Banana Tail stories and strive to move forward to make Banana Tail a household name. Its hard, but rewarding work and I thank all of you for your support!
