Presented here "FOR SALE" are works and publications by the french (Paris based) ELLES SONT DE SORTIE art-collective and it's founding members PASCAL DOURY and BRUNO RICHARD. From the mid-seventies on E.S.D.S has been on the forefront of the french "graphic" comics scene, setting new standards for the medium, much in tie with contemporaries like the Bazooka Group (France), the spanish Néon de Suro as well as Art Spiegelman's RAW magazine movement (USA). ESDS eclectic brand of visuals, often daring and on the edge of what is deemed acceptable, redefine the then current "comics" landscape. Throughout the late seventies until the early nineties they produce and publish a thousandfold of images, painting mindwarps of their twisted imagination. The synergy between Pascal & Bruno, assisted by a host of likeminded artists, sprouts gems like "Sexy Politzei", "Pornographie Catholique", "Kolor Love", "Nègres Vulves Noires Bites", "Art Dégénéré" and over 90 other publications under the Elles Sont de Sortie brand. Most of their publications were published in very tiny runs (most around 100 copies) and are very sought-after.
