This one could have come out of Byrne's Fantastic Four run. He certainly did not skimp on the inking. It They may not be that mainstream but these two came out great.

Love JB'S Galactus and here it doesn't get any better! Ego is a cool villain as well.

JB at his best. If I didn't know any better, I'd say that it was a vintage JB piece!

Quite a combination. Perfection. It echoes Kirby in the whole design. Why does Galactus have Ego "captured"? I am curious about that. Or is he just watching Ego from some Kirby-machine? It almost looks like Ego is watching Galactus doesn't it? Great piece.

One of my favorites. JB draws cosmic characters and they look perfectly when the background is as detailed as it is in this one.

There will never be another Jack Kirby, but John Byrne comes closer than anyone else ever will.

Wow, I don't usually think John Byrne I think Cosmic comic art but I think I have to add him to the list!

Byrne's at his best when he does sci fi. With all due respect to my favorite of all time, Jack Kirby, JB draws the best Galactus ever!
