This piece is BRILLIANTLY Batman! I especially love the JOKER and SCARECROW... I would collect Batman if Deodato was hired on to do the book on a monthly basis; especially if paired with a writer who knew how to exploit his talents.

Love high contrast black & white and this is one of the best I've seen. It's important for what he's left out as well as what he's delineated.

I haven't seen such an effective use of high contrast since Frank Miller on Sin City! This is just brilliant artistry and one of my favorites from your fine gallery!
