DescriptionI grew up reading Man of Steel, so Byrne's Superman is MY Superman. I wanted John to try and capture Superman the way he drew him years ago, and WOW, did he ever succeed. The face, the tattered cape, everything is as I remembered it. This piece completes my DC Trinity by JB! I just am awed by the power of the two characters on this piece. The intensity of the eyes...Great Scott! Thanks to Jim Warden and of course to JB for making this happenSocial/Sharing |

Amazing commission. I am a big fan of Byrne's Superman myself and this commission delivers.

The power (and to use Ari's own words against him ;-]) and intensity of this image just POPS off the page. Keep 'em coming Ari!

It's not fair, you've already got some of the best Batman art. Now you're doing Superman too??? =)

Fantastic! This is one of the best Byrne commissions yet. Superman vs Darksied is big but Byrne makes it epic! Congrats Ari!

Great battle page. I love the angle he chose on this, they look like two ancient warriors meeting on the field of battle after a long day of fighting for one final clash.
