Buckler's run on World's Finest had plenty of Neal Adams homages and this has plenty of of great Batman images brilliantly done in that fashion. The bottom panel brings thoughts of Detective 408 and Buckler gives his own flair to it.

I don't collect Batman art but doesn't mean I can't enjoy just plan great art by a master! Love how Batman's cape is rendered throughout, especially in that last panel. Congrats, Dietmar!

Surely Rich's and Romeo's Finest (and one of your finest too, Dietmar)! From the strange decades when Supes and Bats adressed each other as "Batman" and "Superman" instead of "Bruce" and "Clark" even when no "bystanders" were around..:)

I remember admiring this page. I forgot just how amazing the Batman images are. The close up of his head and that last panel are truly splendid!!!! Great pick up, Dietmar!
