INFO: This great oil painting was one of the last ones of HOFFMANs so-called PHASE I and is done on heavy board
MEASURES: 38 x 51 cm
NOTE: signed
CONDITION: excellent

He changed his style considerably with PHASE II that seems not to find undivided favour among fans

Note the body shape, at the same time forceful and as feminine as you can get. The brush stroke on the lady gives her skin a sweet feel you think you can touch. A proper example of FANTASY ART, flawless in its realism, however creating a scene usually not found in the world as we know it. A master piece of its kind with little competition in the field
