Description

I love Kickstarter. Where can you get the chance for an original Balent Commission? The price is high but well worth. I have always likes Jim's work on Green Lantern Corps where he worked on Alan scott. He did Jade occassionally wanted to see him do her more. He decided to add aliens to the mix. I think it works. I love the detail of the piece and how you all enjoy it too. Please make sure to comment if you do like it.

The composition of this one is so striking. Really a standout piece. Love that he dated and wrote the time on this one too. Freezes it in history

Jade is really drawn beautifully here, and I think the addition of the aliens is fantastic! Such amazing detail. Congratulations! (and I also like the 'exact time of creation' along with the signature & date).

If you subscribe to the Broadsword Website, Holly will sent you a heads up before they start another KS. The only question is are you willing to help them enough for the commission level and can you get in early enough? They were only offering 5 in this KS so you had to hit early

A very nice acquisition. Jim always did have very clean line-work. And from one Jade-fan to another, Alan Scott would never been able to handle two of those nasty xenomorphs at once!

And with a creative team that would help her shine. Someone like Nicola Scott on the art, but she's doing excellent work on Wonder Woman. and her backstory would likely be reworked, as the previously mentioned Mr Scott is nowhere to be seen.
