Description

Well, dont let anybody tell you size doesn't matter, because it does! Piece is 20 x 30 , whole piece frame 27 x 38. First I need to thank Kenneth for allowing me to obtain this piece. Originally done at Wondercon prior to Jim going to Image. I believe if anyone can verify that this may be the first appearance publicly of zealot by Jim, and also the wolverine looks very close to the wolverine DF Lithograph put out a few months after this piece was done. All in all I love Jim's stuff and this wolverine is my favorite , and throw in Zealot and I am thrilled to have this.

It's so great to see an unpublished piece of art by Jim from that era...my era of comic book fanaticism. I loved those comics, I still love those comics and I love this!

A very special piece indeed!! Lee's work on the X-Men prior to his Image stint is up there with his Batman HUSH work. So to have a Lee Wolverine piece from that period- and to have Zealot thrown into the mix, possibly prior to her first comic appearance - is beyond awesome. You were wise to acquire this piece.
