Description

Retro Gamer #20 cover (January 2006) line work by Wil Overton. Featuring a host of characters from Ultimate Play The Game, a prominent UK software house of the early/mid Eighties, that later morphed into the even more successful Rare. Spot some of the games... Sabre Wulf, Imhotep, Alien 8, Jet Pac, Cookie...

Apart from having drawn many superb magazine covers for Superplay and N64 Magazine, amongst others, Wil also spent time working at Rare as an artist, making this old Retro Gamer cover with all the UPTG/Rare touches all the more lovely.
