HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBIN!!!!!  The only thing I miss about going to a Sharks game on Robin's birthday is not being able to record my annual birthday wishes on Marcus's phone.  Oh, and I'm sorry, but I will just NEVER get used to Jason's beard.  LOL

Man, I don't know that it is possible to "outcool" a Sergio posting.  Such a master graphic storyteller; one who can simultaneously execute a concept, story, or joke in the clearest and "simplest" way possible, and also adorn the surface of that simple concept with dense layers of detail as few others can.  He also has a stunningly consistent record of being -truly- funny, and this is typical brilliance by Aragones (set up, conflict, punch line - boom, boom, boom! - with incredibly pretty pictures) in recognition of what appeared to be a fantastic birthday event!  Thank you for sharing this, Marcus (and happy birthday to Robin)!

Sergio Aragones is definitely a genius.  And this is such a funny take on the 'surprise birthday party' trope!  I love how relieved Abel is when they all take off their masks there at the end, and the hilarious array of monsters that are revealed.

Truly amazing page from Sergio's superb  early 1970s funny DC horror pages and the first one I ever saw with 3 continuing story panels instead of the usual 3 single cartoons ! Huge congrats !

Hilarious Cain & Abel gag cartoon by Sergio Aragones! What a delight to see this in amongst all the overly dramatic and very serious comic art. Sergio's work, both in Mad Magazine, and later on in Groo, have alwayts brought a smile to my face. Thanks for sharing!
