Impulse buy at LSCC 2017. Saw it, bought it, now I'm broke...

That kind of covers it (excuse the pun), but not quite...

I was perusing through Simone's art at LSCC, and came across this amazing painting on canvas board, featuring my favourite character by one of my favourite artists, holding the Union Jack in an image I hadn't seen before (apparently it was solicited earlier that week). It just felt like fate. And I love everything about it.

I can't end this without a word for Simone & Gloria - I have been fortunate enough to meet Simone at various conferences over the years, and he is always a lovely guy and a true gentleman, but his sister Gloria was also wonderful and an absolute pleasure to work with and talk to - thank you both so much!

One of those rare instances where going broke’s okay ;) Definitely a great piece and your excitement is evident. Love how you can really see Simone’s command of color as most of this piece is in the cool color palette. Congrats!

Wow. Amazing piece. I haven't been in the original art game that long, but every piece I obtain seems to have "a story" behind it. Weather it stems from a particular deal not going ahead on one day and then stumbling upon an amazing opportunity the next. In this case, I like how you also got to meet Simone. I've heard he is a true champ and great human being and this is yet another confirmation. A very nice addition to an already superb collection!

Another really great Psylocke cover by an artist that really knows their eerie details, fantastic find, great seeing this one in your collection.
