DescriptionFelt so Lucky to get this page...Missed all the others but I think this is my favorite after the bedroom scene of course. An alternate timeline story where Apollo and Midnighter are still lovers in feudal Japan and after a night of passion...get attacked by a gaggle of ninjas....half-naked still sweaty from a night of loving...jump to battle....and express their sexual energy in battle....Yum. I love this version of Midnighter as a hot samurai...double Yum.Lucky to get this from Northern Ireland seller.....Thanks !! and Thanks to Glenn for a great page !! Social/Sharing |

Ray, glad to see you got this page. Midnighter looks great, particularly in the last panel!

Those Samurai are really bad. Worse even than Frank Millers inept version. There are loads of them and they have swords but cannot kill two opponents???? Nice art by Glenn, who always does appealing gore.

If you know Midnighter, he is not a normal opponent - he is Batman on steroids with less of a moral compass and Apollo is essentially Superman.

If they have the same powers in this alternative reality it makes sense. It just makes the ninjas appear even more stupid though. Why would Apollo need a sword anyway? Who knew they had such stylish underwear in feudal Japan? I am taking this far too seriously. Its really nice artwork.

LOL. Doesn't make logical sense - but I never complain whenever an artist or writer wants to show some beefcake Apollo and Midnighter playing with their swords. This page gets center stage with my family during Thanksgiving lol.
