Iconic Excalibur cover by Alan Davis and Paul Neary! Love this image of Nightcrawler as a swashbuckler in this excellent installment of The Cross Time Caper! Davis and Neary were the perfect team to pencil and ink this crazy time jumping storyline written by Chris Claremont. And this cover was the best of the run. Great pick-up, congrats!

I remember reading that issue multiple times way back in the day! That cover is one Davis's best!

Spectacular cover that pretty much encapsulates what was wonderful about the title--fun, sexy, clever, character-centric--and Alan Davis' art (gorgeous, fun, sexy, character-centric).

Frazzy fantasy fun with the conquering hero and the intergalactic babe hanging onto his arm! Davis and Neary went above and beyond to do something they knew would last the test of time.

Perfect cover...the three Excalibur characters are captured perfectly . Classic mutant masterpiece !

Glorious! I dont remember the story but I remember the cover and I remember how much I loved this book and the art.

Congrats on getting your favorite cover from the run, James! No easy task I'm sure. Can see what it was your fave. So many images from the first 2 years of Excalibur are seared into my brain, including this one. Congrats, again!
