Description

I grew up reading the X books and Chris Bachalo was the peak for me, especially on Generation X. Something about the way he fit in that corner of the Marvel U was perfect. I always wanted some X art from him but it never quite worked out. Some time ago, I got on his commission list and waited my turn. In the fall, I was up and Emma immediately sprang to mind (blame GenX!). Fast forward a few weeks past that and this image showed up in my inbox. Blown. Away!

Love the classic outfit and pose for Emma. Just looks perfect. An amazing bonus was seeing Logan(!), Scott(!), Sabretooth(!), and Iceman(!) in the image, too. And all of this on an 11x17 board? Completely blew the high expectations for this lifelong X fan out of the water.
