Here's another splatter experiment. This is half cross-hatch, and half splatter, done on 11x17.

Experiment: success!

The two methods work great on this piece - it lends it a very cinematic feel, it reminds me a lot of David Lynch's Eraserhead, particularly the final scene. But with a much better-looking subject, of course! ;)
