DescriptionThis was used on the backing card of the black suit Spider-Man action figure based on the original 'Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars' comic book series. It was created by the same artist that pencilled the comic book series, the legendary MIKE ZECK.This is as good as it gets for me - being a big fan of eighties black suit Spider-Man art. Basically it can only be beaten by the cover of Secret Wars 8 or one of it's final 2 pages - rumor is that all three have been locked away in black hole collections for years! Signed by the artist! Unfortunatly the word balloons came loose over the years and are lost - but on the otherhand now all art is clearly visible ... Thanks to Mike 'Romita Man' Burkey it has found it's place in my own personal (black hole) collection ... enjoy! Social/Sharing |

I really like the theme of your collection. Money is not enough to put togheter a great collection - it takes passion more than anything else, and you have plenty! This piece, btw, it's really impressive.

This is such a great piece recapping the symbiote origin! I admired it on Mike's site long and hard; but had recently acquired my Zeck/McLeod Kraven splash from Mike and my pocked book was too depleted to go after this piece too! Glad it found a great home!

wow I still have my original action figure that had this card. This is a very unique piece of advertising . You don’t see many done by official artists
