Description

This John Romita cover art featuring Mary Jane Watson was published as the "70th Anniversary of Marvel Frame Variant" of this issue of Amazing Spider-Man #601 (2009). The lovely Mary Jane Watson image in the center is an original illustration by Romita, the beloved artist who first drew Mary Jane when she made her iconic debut in back in 1966's Amazing Spider-Man #42. The Marvel characters shown in the "picture frame" portion of cover are a stat mounted on an overlay.

The Mary Jane figure measures approximately 4" x 10" and it is executed on standard 11" x 17" art board.
