DescriptionI first met Jimmy at Baltimore, but wasn't able to make the cut. I made him first priority at Big Apple Con last year and was able to be one of the first in line. I loved Jim's work on Illumnati which is why I chose Black Bolt. I told him that I wanted a cosmic battle of epic proportions which is why I chose Hal Jordan as his opponent. Jim liked the idea but was unfortunately not able to finish it by the end of the con. He generously offered to take my book to try to get it to me at the next con that we were both at. At NYCC, I was presented with this mind boggling gem. Thanks to Jim for putting so much great work in to this masterpiece.Social/Sharing |

I had the pleasure of seeing this in person and the scan does NOT do this commission justice AT all!! Just a wonderful example of Jim's layouts and laying down those grey tones...just an impressive piece indeed. Thanks for sharing and enjoy!!!!

This is truly amazing. I have desired a One Minute Later by Jim forever and a day but alas. This, though, is so perfect and so wonderful that I can gaze at it for hours and hours.
