Description

Dateline: 1957. When another ship full of top secret scientific equipment and her crew disappear south-east of Australia, something stinks all over the South Seas. Task Force X is called in to investigate. All the evidence points to a small uncharted island 200 miles east of Oceania.

Posing as victims of a shipwreck, the Squad soon discover that the infamous Dr Moreau is conducting ghastly biological experiments -- this time, to turn people into animals - or HUMANIMALS as he calls them. The "good" doctor has succeeded in subjecting our heroes to his genetic manipulations - Flag and Karin have been tuned into feline hybrids, where Evans and Bright have been injected with pig and goat DNA, respectively.

Half out of their minds, how can the Squad become human again -- let alone defeat the plans of Dr Moreau???

Fantastic work by Shawn, once again.

This cover combines a great Gil Kane Marvel movie adaption cover with a nod to the very entertaining anthropomorphic French comic strip: Blacksad.

This whole thing is fantastic but that pig-face stands out as my favorite part. Great work by Shawn!
