Description

Image Comics. April, 2008.

The last Grimes family embrace. A bittersweet moment considering the events that would follow. This is also one of the few times Adlard gaffed Rick's hand after the Governor cut it off; accidentally drawing it in the 4th panel.

Wow still managing to find pages from issue 48. Most impressive! Rick's right hand makes random appearances through various issues. Kirkman mentioned in an article that Adlard has trouble keeping it straight. I have Walking Dead #113 pg8 and his missing hand appears in the 3rd panel.

Sweet page!!! I can't recall an interior page with that hand since. It was however drawn intentionally on a couple of the #115 connecting covers... and the last true gaff I recall was on the Banes & Noble Compendium 3 exclusive cover.
