Description

A beautiful painting of a little Korean girl by a local artist from the previous town I lived in.

His name was Kim and he was of Korean origin.

I really liked that piece and he gifted it to me through my partner. I found it sad and subtle at the same time. Her gaze is a bit sad which is enhanced by the fact he painted them in full. But she is delicately portrayed and I like how she is playing with a bamboo or what seems like to be an unfinished traditional mask.

Most of all it is the m�lange of technique which I loved, the watercolor, pencil & inks with lots of cross hatching.
