Description

I clearly remember reading "Pogo" since my childhood, in the late '70s, as it was regularly published on the Italian magazine "Linus", which my father was collecting from its start in 1965.
Ok, maybe back then I wasn't always able to understand the subtle humour of the strip, but for sure I really appreciated the exquisite linework, as well as the fantastic little world created by that genius of Walt Kelly. And it simply remained indelebly impressed in my eyes and heart...
So now I'm very thrilled to have some nice examples of this wonderful strip in my hands!

Very attractive example, stripped to the bone of what made Kelly great, two attractively animated characters, deft, lovely brush work and lively and funny conversation. And I love the cynical fish!
