Description

While I was setting up my commission with Todd Nauck (whose work I came to love on Young Justice, it occurred to me that--with his heavy Arthur Adams influence--he would do a terrific job on Illyana...so I chose her as the subject of the piece. As you can see, it was a good choice, because he did an absolutely mind-blowing job on her! I think, when I picked this up from his table at the 2010 Mid-Ohio Con, I just kind of sat there awestruck and stuttered for a little while, looking at it. Both Mr. Nauck and his wife, Dawn, are super-nice people...so if you get a chance, get something from them! If you get something half as good as this, you won't be sorry! Thanks, Todd!!! :D

A truly great piece! And I had a similar reaction when I picked up my commission from Todd at the same show -- just sort of stood there speechless.
