Description

Madame Xanadu has always been amongst my favorite of DC's stable of magical characters...so when Matt Wagner recently created her own book for her, detailing some of her mysterious past, it was definitely a project I followed closely. This piece is a page from that series, one that I think not only shows off Amy Reeder Hadley's fine, almost ethereal linework--but really shows off the talent of her inker, Richard Friend. The two of them work quite well together, creating a simple, yet elegant and precise piece. The piece was purchased through Mr. Friend, who was super-nice and very helpful throughout the whole buying process. Thanks Amy and thanks Richard!!! :D
