DescriptionStunning Cover "King Size" (50 x 36 cm) painted masterfully by Rafael López Espí for the Spanish edition of THE INCREDIBLE HULK (LA MASA) VOL.2 N°1 (the collection consisted of only 6 issues), published by Vértice in September 1974. It's titled "Black Bolt's fury" and The USA content corresponds to The Incredible Hulk Vol.1 #174-175 and Man-Thing Vol.1 #1. The colorful and realism is spectacular for one of the most beautiful covers that the author made to the publisher. What makes this really special is that Lopez Espi painted very few covers in this size and with this quality, mainly the issues #1 (vol. 2). Blackbolt sounds off on HULK and flips the big guy head over heals.I agree that this is one of the very best Rafael paintings that I have seen.The colors are magnificent and must of sold many comics years ago.

Love it when a foreign issue has an original cover and not just the re-print of the US version. Always interesting to see their take on these heroes!

¡Una de las mejores portadas de Vértice! López Espí realizó un magnífico trabajo en muchas portadas del formato librito y revistas de terror... Personalmente me encantan casi todos los primeros números del volumen 2. ¡¡¡Felicidades!!!
