DescriptionSpectacular cover painted by Rafael López Espí for the Spanish edition of THOR VOL.1 N°20, published in pocket format by Vértice in 1972. It's titled "abandoned on Earth" and The USA content corresponds to THE MIGHTY THOR VOL.1 #145-146-147. All good fans know to find a cover of edition Vertice "Volume 1" is task impossible. This illustration is also one of the most dramatic and in my point of view of the best made for the collection of Thor in Spain, with a masterfully color.Espectacular portada pintada por Rafael López Espí para la edición española de THOR VOL.1 Nº20, publicado en formato taco por la extinta editorial Vértice en 1972. Se titula "Abandonado en la Tierra" y el contenido USA corresponde a THE MIGHTY THOR VOL.1 #145-146-147. Todo buen fan verticero sabe que encontrar una portada del volumen 1 es prácticamente imposible. Esta ilustración es también uno de las más dramáticas y desde mi punto de vista de las mejores realizadas para la colección de Thor en España, cuyo colorido es magistral. Social/Sharing |

Lopez Espí trabajó en dos formatos, hasta la mitad de las colecciones (más o menos) con el formato cartulina y posteriormente se paso al formato tabloide. Como nunca adquirí ninguna portada del vol.1 del treintaytantos para abajo no lo había podido constatar...Hasta hoy... XD.

These are fantastic. I was born in Ireland so we got the US or UK editions but I remember vividly my first trip to Paris reading Thor in French ! It was so cool
