Description

I stopped by John Byrne’s studio during the summer of 2009 to pick up a piece of art and he was kind enough to pose with my giant-size Invaders vs. Axis commission and let me snap a bunch of other photos of his incredible collection of models, statues, toys and original art while I was in the studio. Byrne has a fantastic collection and it was really a thrill to get to see it all in person. These photos really don’t do it justice, but they will give you a delicious taste of what you’ll find in Byrne’s Sanctum Sanctorum.

WOW, that's a big piece of Byrne. Did you by any chance get a pic of his "Byrne Stamp" :)

No such luck. I wish I'd thought of it because it would have been great to see it in person!

Thanks, Patrick. It's really incredible the amount of detail that Byrne is able to pack into his commissions. I just posted a scan of this piece in my John Byrne Commissions gallery room.
