Description

Based off the Milton Greene photo starlet Marilyn Monroe (now with a little colour added).
A companion piece to the Rita Hayworth;

We stayed pretty close to the original photo, obviously making the ballerina's tutu black, and changing Marilyn's classic platinum blonde look to black! The umbrella was added initially because it's a Death accessory, but it also fit really well with the threatening sky behind, which we eventually decided to add a little purple to!

Best piece yet Conny~ you mentioned commission prices somewhere but I couldn't find them. You really should advertise your skills!

It's well beyond just being a great piece Conny...you've captured what I imagine her eyes would feel like if we saw her on "the other side". The way you incorporate such subtle colours into a normally pallor pallete is amazing :)
