DescriptionFRANCOIS BOURGEON(b. 1945, France) Before going into comics, François Bourgeon studied with a stained glass artist. He started his career in 1971, doing illustrations for magazines. Working with several scriptwriters, he developed a special interest in historic graphic novels, favoring the medieval period - although he has also been known to do futuristic stories. In 1979, he published 'Les Passagers du Vent', which is considered one of the more important modern comics, displaying an incomparable quality of both content and art. Bourgeon already is considered one of the classic comic creators, as much for his story-telling skills as for his sense of authenticity and coloring. This sketch was made for the birth of my daughter which I gave the same name as his main character "********" Social/Sharing |

Le rêve de beaucoup de monde. Ce dessin est magnifique et c'est tellement rare de voir des originaux de Bourgeon. Un très grand bravo
