DescriptionThis full page image of Superman in flight is the work of Dan Jurgens and Brett Breeding, the combo responsible for the most memorable Superman stories of the early 1990s. Jurgens worked extensively on the Superman titles through the 1980s and 90s, doing long runs of Adventures of Superman and Superman (V2), most notably during famous "The Death of Superman" storyline. During this period he was involved in the creation of several major characters in Modern Superman continuity, including Doomsday and the Cyborg Superman.Social/Sharing |

The Jurgens/Breeding team version of Superman is pitch perfect, even with long hair !! Congrats on this great poster art (prompting his return from the dead, no less) !

This was a great team of artisits, and their run on Superman in the early 90's is one overlooked. Loved this title then, thanks for posting.

I went for this piece as well! Happy to see it here on CAF and Congrats! I remember seeing this published somewhere other than the poster but still can't put my finger on it. Maybe it was an ad. Either way it's very memorable. Thx for posting!
