Descriptionso last year I finally finally got my act together and jumped on Brian Stelfreeze's commission list.He's been doing insane portraits (look them up on CAF) and while for a split second I was thinking about a Boy Blue piece in the end there was no question about it... get a portrait, they are epic! So after some thinking I decided on Christian Bale. For one he's an insane actor and for two he's good looking! so today Robert (da man) emailed me a picture of the finished piece and... well we all know what it feels like to see a piece and just get your mind blown. This is beyond what I expected. So major thanks to Robert and of course Brian for this incredible piece. I cant wait to see it in person at Heroes but I could't wait to share. Honestly, if you were ever ever on the fence about getting a piece by Brian, time to jump off and get to it! oh and for those who think this isnt comic art... that's the Bruce Wayne cover for GQ! I'm so happy for you, Anna!! This is stunning! I love portraits, have seen Brian's work but.. this is my favourite. Hands down. Christian has never looked so good. ;)

Anna..This is Absolutely Wonderful !!! Sooooo Very Happy for you and not that I have anything against Boy Blue,but I am Realy glad you chose Bruce.....Being the proud owner of a Selene portrait,I know just how Excited you are..I actually had trouble Sleaping when Robert told me Brian was working on my piece,...LOL..after nearly a year I still have a Giant smile each and Every time I look at her..Cant wait to see this in person,it will be as Vibrant as Ever..A Big Congrats and most of All ENJOY !!! :)

Among all other remarkable things, what I find really amazing in the portraits by Brian it's his ability to give to the subjects those so charming, winning expressions. Congrats on this wonderful addition!

Brian's stuff is so lovely it pains me to look at it and think "I'll never be able to create that." Luckily for me I live in a time that I can enjoy seeing it.
