Cool piece! I wonder what the Manga artists do with their originals. I have never seen anything up for sale. I would sure love to own an original to Akira or Dragonball. But all there seems for sale are animation cels.

Yeah, who wouldn't want an Otomo piece? I can't think of a time I've heard of original manga art up for sale...

You can sometimes find some original manga art for auction at a Japanese site called Mandarake (mahn-dah-rah-kay). They're usually from series that I've never heard of. Don't expect to find any Otomo or Kojima pages (you might find a specialty piece, though, if you are lucky and/or patient). It's where I got my Nagai Go (or his assistants) Devilman page. Most manga-ka don't sell their art for various reasons, but they do, on occasion, give them away as gifts and they can end up on the open market. Look around and you can find some good pages from Tezuka, Koike and others on CAF.
