OK, after seeing Michael's work popping up here and there over the last few monthes and then seeing Richard DeDominicis' Gaurdian Angel painting, that was enough to send me running to Michael's booth at the Wondercon. What a really great guy! I enjoyed talking with him and worked out two deals. The first is this one which is a 16x20 finished prelim to the painting Fallen Angel which Tim F. owns the actual painting (You, lucky dog) and then after I took care of actually getting something to hold me over, I have now arranged a commissioned painting with him. It's gonna take awhile because of his work load but I can't even begin to tell you guys how excited I am about this piece and will be more then happy to await the outcome of this one. Even Michael said he's excited about doing this one :) If you guys are not familiar with his art yet, look him up as this man is on a roll and destined for Greatness!!! Thanks again Michael and looking forward to what the future holds.

I am in love with this.. just can't believe that it's a prelim!! Two words come to mind. 'Gloriously Tragic'. Michael's work is sheer greatness to behold and this is another fine example. He can really bring out the raw emotions in a person and forces them to face them head on. Ken, I'm glad you have this but.. I also hate you. ;)

The linework in the fabric is amazing! Reminds me of Albrecht Durer. Beautiful!

I agree about the fabric... nice piece Ken... I'll have to check out more work by this artist.
