Description

Getting a Broderick Captain Atom cover for my collection has been one of my "grails". The Bates/Broderick run was a favourite of mine up until the conclusion of the Invasion series - watching Nate Adam become a leader of sorts. This is one of the best covers of the run and it introduces one of the series' only major villains, the quantum-powered Major Force. "Enter: Major Force!" was the cover's tag line and no the good Captain isn't... well, I don't think he is. The figures are larger and take up more space on the OA than on the published cover so DC must have adjusted it for publication before adding logos and house dressing. Thanks to Rob Haines for agreeing to sell this to me.

I'm a huge fan of Broderick's art. Loved him on Green Lantern, and even ragman, but this is just insanely good

This is an awesome piece! I too am angry at what they did to Captain Atom. He is by far on of the coolest DC characters, and Kudos on owning a piece from a great series!!...off to draw Captain Atom!!
