Description

As a 15 year old kid, I had a decided fascination with X-Men, Alpha Flight, and The New Mutants. And it seemed to me, no matter who was penciling the comic, I always enjoyed the art better if Terry Austin was inking. So I wrote him what I am sure was a letter gushing with admiration for his talent. Rather than blow off a poorly written fan letter in barely legible handwriting, Terry sent this back to me. It was probably one of the two coolest comic events in my adolescent life, opening up that letter and seeing Puck staring back at me with greeting from Terry Austin. Having retrieved it from storage, I thought I'd share.

Terry is one of the nicest guys in the biz. Nice gesture on his part. Great headshot, too.
