DescriptionIllustrazione china su cartoncino (16 x 20 cm.) edita nel 1914 per il volume " I Tre Talismani", Bibliotechina de La Lampada N.4.Questa illustrazione appartiene alla storia breve di Gozzano "La Fiaccola Dei Desideri" (come scritto dallo stesso Rubino sopra al disegno). Il tratto tipico del miglior Rubino di quegli anni, con il suo stile gotico, contorto, ma di una precisione irraggiungibile, illustra magnificamente i seguenti versi di Gozzano: "Fortunato indietreggiò inorridito. Aveva innanzi un cortile pieno di salamandre gigantesche, di rospi, di vipere, di scorpioni colossali. Fortunato si fece animo, passò con le stampelle tra i dorsi viscidi, le code, le corazze, i tentacoli inerti (...)". Firmato. Social/Sharing |
