DescriptionJohn Romita pencils with Jim Mooney inks, from the CLASSIC 1968 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN story titled: "THE SPEEDSTER AND THE SPIDER!" 4 Panel Semi-Splash Battle... Spider-Man Vs QUICKSILVER! I personally feel that Jim Mooney was the BEST inker EVER on JOHN ROMITA (next to Romita inking himself) Mooney's inks are so detailed that the only inker I feel who inked better in the 1960s was Joe Sinnott!Social/Sharing |

I'm actual drawn to Mooney's inks on this one, just so clean and exact. Great page, thanks for sharing.

I would like to throw the name of Mike Esposito into the discussion, whose inks I also like very much over John Romitas pencils. There were really a lot of great inkers out there in those days!
