Description

My turn came on the Eduardo Risso list and while I love that he took over the art on Torpedo from Jordi Bernet a few years ago, I can�t see myself owning a Torpedo piece. I enjoyed reading the book, but a POV character that immoral is pretty tough to get behind. You want the stories but you definitely think he deserves to catch a bullet or worse. But to keep with the Risso -Bernet connection, I chose instead the (sometimes) happy-go-lucky but always with her head held high looking for the bright spot, comedic prostitute Clara de noche. Love how this turned out!

Most definitely! Even his more spartan black and white compositions beat out so many artists' full color spreads. He's insanely talented.

Turned out awesome with Clara looking more refined and sexy than the looser more comedically styled drawings by Bernet. The poor schlub has his hopes up like plenty before.

Definitely has Risso's own spin to it, but her smelling the flower, going about her business feels perfectly in-character. Think he's hoping for a freebie?

In the strip, all the unattached guys in town want to play the saviour to take her from the life. This is more like he offered to do the same with a bouquet and she takes one and leaves him a kiss without flat out rejecting him. Thus keeping his hopes alive and a client happy.
