Excellent cover. Kirby is a tough act to follow, but John Buscema made the character his own.

It's a wonderful cover made even better by the story it fronted. Big John's Hela had just the right balance of grace, beauty and humanity.

Congrads Romain, I was bummed I saw this on Mike's websight. But don't have that kind of $ handy. I wish I did, I'd went after this epic cover myself! One of the best Buscema cover ever! I need to win that half a billion Mega-Millions jackpot tomorrow night! So I can make you a crazy $$$ offer! LOL

Congratulations Romain! I think this is the BEST "thor" cover ever! Love the way that the legend (Buscema) has drawn Odin and Hella Buscema covers are always masterpieces !!!!

After Kirby left, Big John became the Marvel house style. His consistency was his greatest asset. From 1966 to 1996 when he retired, you picked up a Buscema book because he was the artist. If a comic book artist's #1 job is to make sales, Big John never disapointed. As Stan would say : Nuff Said !
