Description

The actual title of this strip is "Getting Her Wish." This is a classic example of a Bushmiller "Using unexpected objects to solve an unrelated problem" gag. I love the pattern on the curtains. At this point, he was still using his pre-printed four-panel boards, but his "classic" minimalist style is already fully formed.
