DescriptionMarvel Comics PresentsIssue 119 Page 5 I bought this and one other piece almost 20 years ago from this issue. I had to part with one but I don't ever expect to part with this baby. I think it represents Wolverine at his moody best. The detail is great and I think Sam Kieth was born to draw Wolverine!! Social/Sharing |

Thanks for all the kind words. I feel really lucky to have this piece. It's brother for 17 years in now in the very good hands of Mike Rice.....

This is really an amazing Wolvie. Kieth "is the best at what he does, though what he does is VERY nice! This is really a piece of art that if you wanted to sell to me, I will appreciate the gesture!! G-R-E-A-T-!-!-!-!

The MCP Wolverine/Kieth stories were strange, eerie little masterpieces. Beautiful example you have here.

One of the nicest Kieth pieces I've ever seen. The detail & textures on the wood stump are stupid cool. Nice!

Sam is a genius artist but I think he was also one of the most technically skilled inkers comics has ever seen. I'd put his inks up against Frazetta and Alex Raymond or any of the other greats. I think he was that good during this period.

Simply Amazing...I have to agree, Sam was born to draw Wolverine (and batman, in my humble opinion) Grats on owning a fantastic piece!
