Description

Medina has become much too rare an artist whose work I adore. I always loved it but now that we don't get to see his art on a regular basis, I miss it even more.

Blackwulf was a failed attempt at a new serie by Marvel in the 90s. I'm not or was not specially a fan but Medina's work on it made it unmissable for me.

This opening splash is a typical has it all for a Medina fan, crazy layout, tons of detail and that nasty vibe he can infuse his work with when needed, here for the vilain of the story. The sense of the fire is incrediblly menacing here.

The inks from Anderson, his inker of choice for that period are impressive as well.

I had been eyeballing this piece on ebay for a very long time before finally pulling the trigger on it this year.
