DescriptionI am very pleased to be adding this beauty to my collection! Simone has done incredible work at Marvel and DC and I wanted to get something nice for a while, but his work is quite expensive. But fortunate happenstance had an Italian collector (my new buddy Luca Baldi) who wanted to trade for one of my Jim Lee pages and this was one of the pages he offered and I just had to take it. So a deal was struck and this is now mine. Isn't the detail and the wash so beautiful on this page? Simone usually works with inker/assistant Andrea Silvestri on most of his published work, but this page is all Simone himself.As a cool little extra, Simone also does certificates of authenticity for his work when he sells it himself, so also below in the additional images is the certificate for this page. Not that you couldn't tell it was Simone already just by his style:) Social/Sharing |
