DescriptionPhantom Stranger Vol. 2 #12 page 15 (DC, 1971) original artwork by Jim Aparo (pencils and inks). From the chilling tale written by Len Wein entitled, "Iron Messiah" this scene features the mysterious Phantom Stranger as he confronts the Iron Messiah face-to-face for his craven cowardliness. And thus, with the Stranger's rebuke pressing upon his mind like an unbearable weight for his shameful selfishness in leaving the people to fight their enemies on their own, the Iron Messiah returns to the battle fray, but still harbors envy toward John Kweli. Cool page with the Phantom Stranger doing what he does best, offering council in the time of need.Phantom Stranger artwork by Aparo is quite scarce and tough to come by.
